THE LEGENDARY QUEEN BEE

A Modern-day American Shipwreck Tale of Survival & Reunion

In August 2008, while fishing off the coast of Nantucket in their Regulator 26, Scott Douglas and Rich St. Pierre survived a near-tragedy when a rogue wave threw them overboard forcing them to swim to shore for safety. Read More...

CAPT. DANNY ADAMS
Atlantic Beach, NC

While fishing with a crew of clients from Wilmington and Raleigh on September 30th 2012, we managed our first billfish on the new Regulator 24 that I took delivery on in the summer of 2012. This wonderful sail put a great fight but exhibited a great boat side demeanor. After a few pictures and some high fives it was released to fight another day. The captain and clients alike are thrilled with Regulator’s ride and comfort - check us out at www.oldyellerguideservice.com.

Best,
Capt. Danny Adams

DAVID M. APPOLONIA
Wakefield, RI

I wanted to share another photo with you that you may want to add to your website. I caught another giant bluefin tuna off Block Island on August 23rd, it measured 115 inches and weighed 730 pounds. We fought it for 4 hours plus on my 26 Regulator and towed it in. The other gentlemen in the photo are Mario Fernandez and Bill Catauro, both from RI. My boat is still running well and we continue to enjoy it.

Best,
David

CAPT. BOB BOHLERT
Bellmore, NY
F.V. "Joint Effort II" Bellmore, NY Member Freeport Tuna Club

No matter what the weather, I am out on my boat with my family, sharking, or running to the Hudson Canyon for mahi-mahi and tuna. My boat, "Joint Effort II," has taken me everywhere I have ever wanted to go on the water and brings great memories for my family and me. The pictures are proof of the fun we have on our boat and the massive fish we catch, so take a look!

LeROY WOOSTER

I waited until a had my Regulator for a full year before I wrote to Regulator. Let me say this, what an impression the boat made! I fish out of South Jersey Marina in Cape May, NJ; I mostly fish offshore for marlin, dolphin and tuna. I ended the year placing third in total points in the Cape May Marlin and Tuna Club (1st. place was a 61’ Paul Mann and 2nd. place was a 57’ Island Boats Work boat) I won the CMM&TC Ladies Tournament with a blue marlin release, 2nd. Place in the Ladies Invitational Billfish Tournament, Largest tuna in the CCM&TC Shark and Tuna Tournament, 3rd. place in the Shockley Memorial Offshore Tournament, junior angler of the Year CCM&TC and First Place Junior angler for the Stone Harbor White Marlin Tournament. All of the tournaments were fished offshore against boats as big as 66ft.

What more can I say, except for the fact that the boat exceed my expectations.

I have included with this e-mail some pictures of the fish that were caught on the "DIGGER" this past summer.

Looking forward for next season! Thanks,
LeRoy P. Wooster
