Regulator Marine Wraps Up Fifth Annual Regulator University and Recognizes 2004 Top Retailers

Edenton, N.C. (November 16, 2004) –  Regulator Marine announced its top dealers and top individual salesmen for 2004 at the conclusion of its fifth annual “Regulator University,” held November 7-9, 2004, an event that draws its dealers to company headquarters in Edenton for intensive training in product knowledge, sales and marketing.

The prestigious Dealer of the Year award went to Oyster Harbors of Osterville, MA, and was accepted by General Manager Peter Maryott; and Salesman of the Year,Mid-Atlantic Salesman of the Year and an Individual Platinum Award was awarded to Jim Sharpe of Atlantic Marine, Wrightsville Beach, NC.

The Dealer Platinum Sales Award for over $2,000,000 in sales was given to Oyster Harbors Marine; North Atlantic Marine Group, Stevensville, MD; Comstock Yacht Sales, Brick, NJ; Atlantic Marine; and Suffolk Marine, Babylon, NY.

Other major individual awards were: Northeast Salesman of the Year, Mike Diggle, Suffolk Marine; and Southern Region Salesman of the Year, Phil Kniskern, KMC Marine, Lighthouse Point, FL.

Individual Platinum Awards for salesmen achieving MSRP sales greater than $1,000,0000 went also to Diggle and Kniskern, and included Mike Myers of Sandy Cove Marine Sales, Islamorada, FL; Joe Green, 70 West Marina, Morehead City, NC; and John Baiamonte, Royal Palm Marina, Englewood, FL.

Individual Gold Awards for salesmen with over $500,000 in MSRP sales were earned by Paul Ochs, Catawba Moorings, Port Clinton, OH; Michael Hayes, Suffolk Marine; Chris Hall, Jr., Bluewater Yacht Sales, Hampton, VA; Joe Green, 70 West Marina; and Billy Woods, Sandy Cove Marine Sales.

Regulator’s line of 21’ to 32’ offshore sportfishing boats is recognized for high quality craftsmanship and rugged durability. Regulator Marine, Inc. was recently awarded the 2004 National Marine Manufacturers Association’s CSI award in the category of Fiberglass Outboard Boats.
