Regulator Marine makes major sales appointment

February 13, 2007, Edenton, N.C. – Joan Maxwell, President, announces two appointments in Regulator’s Lamination Department. Ethan Blount and Gerald Welch are named Lamination Department Supervisors.

Ethan Blount is a life-long Edenton resident and has been with Regulator Marine for 5½ years. He has had perfect attendance for the complete 5½ years.  Ethan is married and has three children. He has mastered all positions he has been assigned and as a lead-person he has a reputation of stepping forward when a difficult task needs leadership.

Gerald Welch has been with Regulator almost 7 years and was certified a journeyman in the first fiberglass boat apprentice program in the state of North Carolina.  His most recent position was lead-person in the Lamination Department. He is a transplant to Edenton from Atlantic City, New Jersey.  Gerald is married and has four children.

Regarding this announcement, Joan Maxwell made this statement, “Both of these men have earned their promotions the old fashion way – through hard work and dedication to their jobs. I couldn’t be more proud of their accomplishments. It is individuals like Ethan and Gerald that will help propel Regulator to its next targeted quality and productivity levels.”
