Regulator Teams Up With Canyon Runner for
New Charter Offering
Edenton, NC – Regulator announced today that it has teamed up with New Jersey’s legendary Canyon Runner sportfishing charters and outfitters to offer a 2008 Blue-Tone White Regulator 32 Classic powered by Yamaha F350 outboards, with Teleflex® Power Assist steering, for inclusion in the company’s charter fleet.
“With over 75 combined years in the charter industry and having owned 36 boats and operating dozens of others, we have the experience to determine what boat is the best on the market for the money,” said Adam LaRosa, Canyon Runner partner. “After years of researching center console boats, with the Number One objective to find a boat that can handle the harsh environment and how intensely we fish, have led us to the only solution for our product offering – Regulator.”
Canyon Runner’s mission is to help its customers catch more tuna, marlin and other offshore pelagic species. Whether through its charter services, teaching seminars, articles, specialized tackle or website, the Canyon Runner team shares its techniques, strategies and secrets in order to help customers become more proficient. Now the Regulator 32 will be part of Canyon Runner’s ongoing success story and is expected to join the fleet in 2008 and will debut at the 103rd New York National Boat Show which begins December 29, 2007 thru January 6, 2008.
The Regulator 32 Classic is an incredibly efficient fish-fighting platform with a large open cockpit both forward and aft. Designed by award-winning naval architect Lou Codega, the Regulator 32’ is founded on a fiberglass hull with the exclusive proprietary Regulator Fiberglass Grillage System. This rigid framework acts as the armored backbone of the boat, allowing the 32 to withstand the most punishing sea conditions. Thanks to its deep-V hull, it is as comfortable as it is safe, with a superbly soft and dry ride.
Forward, the in-deck, 645-quart insulated fish box doubles as locking storage for eight rods. The Regulator 32 Classic also includes a 50-gallon livewell with new bait calming blue gelcoat and 130-quart fish box in the transom; the helm has a locking compartment designed for flush-mounted electronics. The Regulator 32 Classic comes standard with a
6’2” standup enclosed head with shower, marine toilet and vanity; built-in transom door; tilt steering; new Yamaha Command Link instrumentation and binnacle controls with
power trim; stainless steel fuel/water separating filter; stainless steel props; 14”x 22” Lenco® tabs and pre-wired electronics box.
“We are very excited about working with Canyon Runner to mutual benefit,” said Carol Ricketts, Regulator director of sales and marketing. “We believe they attract a very viable audience of potential prospects who are seeking an outstanding sportfishing experience. We are pleased to be selected to deliver the ultimate center console platform with our Regulator 32 to benefit their customers.”
Regulator’s line of 23’- to 32’-foot offshore sportfishing boats are available in both the Classic and FS (forward seating) series, and are highly recognized for quality craftsmanship and rugged durability. The company is a six-time recipient of the National Marine Manufacturer Association’s Marine Industry CSI Award for customer satisfaction in the Fiberglass Outboard Boats category.
