Edenton, NC---November 6, 2008--- Regulator Marine makes major appointment and announces retirement in Customer Service

Cheryl Williams, manager customer service, announces her retirement after 18 years with Regulator Marine. She started with Regulator in its infancy and wore many hats as Regulator matured into one of the premier sportfishing boating companies. Cheryl has headed up the customer service responsibilities for Regulator for the last 4 years. Among her many accomplishments, she was instrumental in Regulator becoming the first boating manufacturer to enjoy a 100% dealer certified network.   “Cheryl was one of the early pioneers in influencing Regulator’s culture”, stated Joan Maxwell, President, “Not only will Regulator be losing a valued professional but I will also miss the daily positive attitude and smile of a friend.” Cheryl and her husband, Dennis, will be relocating to the Blue Ridge Mountains near Galax, Virginia.

Al Partin was appointed manager customer service by Joan Maxwell, President Regulator Marine.  Partin will lead the customer service effort after 6 years of managing the assembly department at Regulator. He has an Associates Degree from the College of the Albemarle in Applied Science, Drafting and Design. Before coming to Regulator, he held various management positions in the textile and boating industries. Joan Maxwell had this to say regarding his new assignment, “Al has a passion for boating and will bring over 20 years of technical and practical boating knowledge to his new customer service role. His assembly experience and knowledge of our boat’s systems will be of instant value to our dealer’s service departments and to owners of Regulators.
