Regulator Marine First Manufacturer to Enjoy 100 Percent Dealer Certification

May 12, 2008, Edenton, NC – In early May, Regulator Marine learned that its final dealer had passed the NMMA Dealer Certification program, thereby distinguishing the company with a 100% certified dealer network and first-in-industry achievement.  

“We are absolutely thrilled by the achievement of our dealers,” said Regulator President Joan Maxwell. “We firmly support this program as a company, and are very proud of each of our dealers and their hard work, effort and collective commitment to customer satisfaction.”

Regulator, in fact, assisted its dealers throughout the certification process. In addition to co-oping half the expenses for certification and future re-certification, the company also designated Customer Service Manager Cheryl Williams as its in-house liaison who took full ownership of the program, visiting dealers throughout the country and assisting as needed through all phases of the program.  

“We believe that a shared philosophical commitment between manufacturer and dealer as it relates to customer satisfaction is critical,” added Carol Ricketts, director of sales and marketing. “Those dealers who value the customer relationship will enjoy a critical edge in achieving lifelong customers and loyal relationships. This is our goal as a company and we’re very pleased that our dealers all share this same cultural mindset and commitment.”

Dealer Certification is a major marine industry initiative administered and promoted by the National Marine Manufacturers Association. The certification process is designed to maximize both customer and dealer retail experience. Certification is an assurance of the dealership’s commitment to excellence and a symbol to the customer of a dealer’s dedication to service and sales
