Edenton, NC---December 5, 2008---Regulator Marine, Incorporated today announced the success of the 2008 Regulator Marine University.

Joan C. Maxwell, president Regulator Marine, announced that Regulator’s annual Regulator Marine University was an overwhelming success. The university was held at the Regulator Plant in Edenton on November 19th and 20th.   Attendance by both dealer principals and salespersons across Regulator’s network was extremely high.  Created in 2000, the university equips both domestic and international sales staff with valuable tools and product knowledge. 

After being awarded a formal degree, ‘Bachelor of Science in Regulator Product Knowledge’, the newly-minted graduate understands both the intricacies of Regulator’s competitive advantage, it’s unique and consistent construction process, and the features and benefits associated with the 2009 model-year introduction. In addition, the University also serves as a purpose for a time of celebration.  After dinner on the final evening, awards are presented, including Dealer of the Year (Oyster Harbors Marine, Osterville, Massachusetts) and Salesperson of the Year (Jonathan Wilkes of Beacon Point Marine, Cos Cob, Connecticut).     

This year’s university was themed, “20 Years of Quality” in recognition of Regulator’s two decade anniversary and commitment to providing a premium product.  Joan Maxwell, president Regulator Marine, stated, “Our Regulator Marine University theme is consistent with our quality standards and the innovation in design across our product lines.  Our products are fresh, while continuing to maintain the Regulator tradition in providing offshore enthusiast the ‘legendary Regulator ride’.  We’re excited about our 2009 Model Year offerings, and we want our sales team to convey that excitement to the customer.”
