Exciting New Performance Leader: The Regulator 32FS and the Yamaha F350 Power Package

May 1, 2007, Edenton, N.C. – Regulator Marine collaborated with power partner Yamaha in the design and introduction of the newest F350 V-8 Four Stroke Outboard delivering 350 horsepower, introduced on Regulator’s legendary 32’ flagship. This all-new Regulator – Yamaha package was selected as one of the featured boat/motor combinations during the official motor debut at the Bridgeport facility, presented before a crowd of boat manufacturers and media.“

Regulator Marine was very proud to partner with Yamaha in the introduction of this major breakthrough in outboard technology,” said Regulator President Joan Maxwell. “Yamaha has thoroughly tested this exciting new product which is now ready for public debut, and we are very pleased to have participated with our Regulator 32’ as an integral part of this significant introduction. This new engine is designed to push the envelope in outboard technology and when combined with our 32’, makes a very powerful statement. We believe it will be a major win at the consumer level.

”The new Yamaha F350 V-8 Four Stroke Outboard is designed specifically for boats like the Regulator 32’: high end offshore-powered boats that combine weight and deep-vee hull configurations. The twin engine application ushers to the market a new era in large center console offshore performance. The 32’ proves itself the perfect match for the new motor in a twin engine configuration. In comparison to Yamaha’s twin F250 application, the 32’ -- with a combined 700 HP -- offers 24% increase in overall speed and performance, as reported by Yamaha from its Bridgeport, AL testing facility.

Steering and performance of the 32’ with 700 horsepower is flawless with the use of dual Teleflex® SeaStar Hydraulic cylinders and Teleflex’s® Power Assist Steering unit. Handling the 32’ in a sea or dockside is effortless with the application of the combined steering system. Regulator’s 32’ takes full advantage of and utilizes the horsepower in Yamaha’s new motor to dramatically enhance top-end performance and cruising speed, delivering a truly amazing offshore ride in virtually any water condition.

“We are excited by the opportunity that this new power option brings to our market and we are confident that our customers will receive it with open arms,” added Maxwell. “The technology truly is state-of-the-art and produces a better performing product for the buying public.

”The new F350 Yamaha power package will be available on 2008 Model Year boats.
