Fished the First Annual Martini’s Fall Hook-A-Hoo Rodeo on November 12, 2011, from Southport, NC, on board my Regulator 32FS named "Critter". The tournament raises money for the Shriner’s hospitals of the Carolina’s. On board were myself (Chris Critz), Carrie Critz (my wife), Doug Straining, and Keith Logan. We landed four Wahoo, ranging from 43 to 63 pounds, and lost another four. Our largest ‘Hoo was 63.15 pounds and was the largest fish of the tournament. We will be defending our spot in the 2012 tournament. After our win, I was asked to join the tournament committee. Additionally, I donated some of our winnings and purchased the domain name for the tournament and created the website: www.hookahoo.com. We’ll do all we can to make sure Regulator gets another win in 2012.
