Dear Regulator Marine,

I recently purchased a Regulator 26 from Comstock Yacht Sales in Brick, NJ. The buying experience was first rate. The folks at Comstock are extremely friendly, very knowledgeable and really believe in your product. I would recommend to anyone in NJ looking for a Regulator to see Don at Comstock. They won't be disappointed.

I am the father of two-year old twin boys and have a demanding job. As a result, I do not get out on the water as often as I would like. I was looking for a boat that was economical, low maintenance and fast, but most of all was good in rough seas and easy to fish from. The Regulator 26 is all of that, plus some.

I picked up the boat in early May and including the trip home to Sea Isle, NJ have only fished 7 times this season. That is the bad news. The good news is that in those 7 trips I have already had one of the best seasons ever and it is only the 4th of July. To date, the crew of the "Test Tube" have caught well over 100 sea bass, dozens of weakfish, countless number of bluefish, 5 sharks (including 4 mako’s in one day and I did not have my camera), and 4 bluefin tuna (the largest caught the morning of July 4th and weighed in at 186 lbs at the end of the day).

It is quite a feeling to be surrounded by dozens of captains in their 40-50 ft sportfishermen watching 4 crazy guys haul a 200 lb tuna over the side of their little 26 ft center console. To say you make a great product would be impersonal. To say you make a great boat would be accurate, but not news to you. To say that I am completely hooked and doubt that I will ever own anything other than this or another Regulator, is how I feel.
