Stan Jarusinski or “StanMan” as he is popularly known, is no less than a fishing sensation in his Regulator 23’. Stan, a retired salesman, hails from Swansboro, NC and fishes out of the Bogue, New River and Beaufort inlets, sometimes running as much as 60 miles offshore in search of trophy Kings, Wahoo and Tuna.

“I’m extremely comfortable and confident fishing far offshore in 6’-8’ seas. The other yacht-sized boats out there look at me in amazement,” says Capt. Stan.

Stan, who has his own website: www.captainstanman.us purchased his prize Regulator 23’ in 1998 from 70 West Marine in Morehead City, NC. “I thoroughly examined the competition when looking for my ideal boat, riding in no less than 27 different center console sportfishing boats! After nearly three years of aggressive fishing, I can honestly say there’s no other boat I’d rather own. My Regulator 23’ looks as great and runs as smooth and rock solid as it did the day I bought her,” he says.

Capt. Stan recently won the Senior Angler Division at the Hardee’s King Mackerel Tournament, landing a whopping 32 lbs. King. He is also qualified for the Southern Kingfish Association’s national tournament.
