An Owner’s Story: Steve Schiavo

For Steve Schiavo of Barrington, Rhode Island, that boat is a 2019 Regulator 41 - which he uses for everything from chasing tuna and swordfish offshore to cruising Block Island, Cuttyhunk, and Martha’s Vineyard with family.

After running a Regulator 34SS for years, Steve was on the hunt for a new ride. Since he was going bigger, he wanted to do his due diligence. He set to comparing the Regulator 41 to other boats including SeaVee, Contender, Grady-White, and Yellowfin - but the decision to stay with Regulator was an easy one.

“I wanted a boat that was not only an excellent fishing platform, but also provided the best reliability and quality ride in any sea conditions,” he says.
