An Owner's Story: Kayd Micale 

For North Queensland, Australia, owner Kayd Micale, his 2017 Regulator 23 center console is an ideal center console for his offshore pursuits. Spearfishing around coral reefs, island hopping, and fishing offshore are all part of life in one of the world's most spectacular boating destinations.

"North Queensland can certainly throw some challenging conditions at you," Kayd says. "Having a boat that handles rough water with confidence makes all the difference."

The Regulator 23 is Kayd’s do-it-all boat, used for offshore fishing, spearfishing, island hopping, family days on the water, and overnight adventures. Long runs are part of life in the Southern Hemisphere, but Kayd says the Regulator 23’s comfortable ride makes every trip a worry-free adventure.

"Without a doubt, it's the ride,” Kayd says “The way the boat handles offshore conditions is incredible. On top of that, the craftsmanship, practical layout, and overall fishability make every trip enjoyable, whether we're heading out for a quick fishing run or a full weekend on the water."

And it's not just the ride that stands out.

"The integrated design is one of the biggest standouts. The built-in fish boxes, eskies*, storage compartments, seating, tackle station, and all the thoughtful features mean everything has its place,” he says. “We don't need to clutter the deck with extra coolers or portable seating. It's all built into the boat, making it incredibly practical."
