Video Transcript Highlights…
“I want to show you the fastest boat in the Regulator fleet. This is their 31 center console with twin Yamaha 450s. I want to show you every detail of this thing, so let’s jump on board and take a look around.
We’re starting at the bow, where the first thing you notice is the signature Regulator quality—exceptional fit and finish, and a solid, beefy feel the moment you step on board.
The 31 features full forward seating, perfect for the whole family. The backrests can be adjusted, and there’s ample, compartmentalized storage underneath.
Forward, you’ll find cup holders to port and starboard, USB chargers, and a fully insulated and macerated fishbox. A full (optional) shade system provides welcome relief on hot days.
A forward-facing seat includes an insulated cooler below for easy access to cold drinks. Retractable armrests with optional teak accents add a premium touch.
The tempered glass and oversized hardtop are finished with a custom gelcoat color to match the upholstery. At the helm, twin 16" Garmin electronics displays and a full switch panel offer a clean, high-tech interface.
Every Regulator 31 now comes standard with Seakeeper Ride, enhancing an already exceptional ride. If you haven’t experienced it, we highly recommend taking a sea trial with your local dealer.
Let’s step into the console to get a real-life feel—plenty of headroom inside...
-
Includes a fully-equipped head for convenience and built-in mirror to check your appearance before heading out
-
Vertical rod storage for up to six rods
-
Easy access to rigging, making troubleshooting quick and simple
-
Battery switches and panel are located here, with a lockable compartment for secure gear storage
Back at the helm…
-
You have your Yamaha joystick, Edson carbon fiber steering wheel
-
Your Seakeeper Ride controls
-
Beautiful new upholstery with adjustable armrests and bolsters
-
More optional teak accents
-
Rear facing mezzanine seat with pull-out step to easily get up and down and to reach your vertical rod holders
-
Tackle storage underneath with Plano Boxes and additional drawers for pliers, knives, anything of that nature
Let’s take a look at the bilge—there’s a nice, large hatch that makes it easy to jump in and troubleshoot anything you need. You’ll find a couple of bucket holders, a compressor for inflating water toys, the Seakeeper Ride system, and both the main and bilge pumps. There’s also a ladder for the starboard side door and an additional ladder at the transom.
At the transom, you’ll find compartments on both sides for your Plano boxes, keeping your gear organized and accessible. Engine flush ports are located right here, along with a flush-folding transom seat—perfect for those longer runs. When not in use, it stows easily to give you more deck space.
There’s even a toe kick at the transom, giving anglers a solid stance while fishing. You’ve got a 36-gallon livewell and a 228-quart fishbox that can be optioned as a second livewell.
Twin Yamaha 450 XTOs in the back pushing this boat to about 65 miles per hour; you’ll do just over one mile per gallon depending on your cruising speed.
Now that you've seen the Regulator 31 here at the Palm Beach International Boat Show, I recommend you come check it out.
What people are saying about the Regulator 31...
Want to know what a good boat ride is? Sea-trial this boat. - Boating Magazine
Hardcore offshore-fishing center console. - Salt Water Sportsman Magazine
The 31’ has brought my family much joy. And Regulator is a company that truly cares about the people it sells boats to. It is evident by the letter that I just received 2 1/2 years after building a boat. Thank you for all you do. - Rob M.
In a stacked ocean, a Regulator is the only center console we would want to be on. The 31 outrides any center console in its class. It handles like a much larger boat – a battlewagon and the only center console we would want to be on. - Reel Pipes Fishing Team
I was out in the middle of Exuma Sound. Blowing 35kts and 12 foot swells. Regulator ate it right up! - @sonnyparisi
