Boat Dealers Know Boats: Here’s Why So Many Choose Regulator for Themselves
An Owner's Story: George Fearons
"I owned multiple Contenders before moving up to Regulator, and the fit, finish, and ride just can't be compared," says George Fearons.
As a broker for Oyster Harbors Marine, George knows boats. Long before selling Regulators, he was an owner himself (a 23, 28 and 32 through the years) noting, “selling becomes more fun when you can really believe in the product that you yourself own.”

Today, George and his children spend their time aboard a 2021 Regulator 26XO, chasing light-tackle fish around Cape Cod and the islands, exploring local sandbars, and enjoying everything New England boating has to offer.

For George, the Regulator 26XO brings together the best of fishing and family time.
"The crossover model is the perfect balance for inshore and close offshore boating and fishing," he says.
On the days the rods stay home, the 26XO easily transitions to cruising and watersports. The low gunwales make getting in and out of the boat easy, while Regulator’s unbeatable ride inspires confidence when New England weather takes a turn.

"I have owned many Regulators, from 23 feet to 32 feet. This boat is a great mix of all the good things about Regulator in a small, trailerable package," George says.
