Your Livewell Shape and Size Matters

Regulator’s known for having larger livewell capacities and you'll see the benefits on this Regulator 31.
On the transom of this Regulator 31, we have two livewells. We have the optional 56-gallon livewell and the standard 36- gallon livewell.
We've all started our day to go out on the water and we go to use our livewell and no water is flowing. Once you turn on your livewell pump, Regulator has made it easy.
Here in the bilge of this 31, we have our two livewell pumps. You'll see they both have a control valve that allows you to open your thru-hull, so water can flow through. You will want to make sure that these valves are in the straight up position. That means that your valve is open. If it is in the perpendicular position, your valve is closed. If you go to use your pump and it's not flowing water, that's the number one issue.
You also are going to have a flow control valve here, so you can control how much water is going into your well and how quickly you want it to fill up. A great feature Regulator thought of.
Another option that I love that Regulator offers is they do the clear livewell lid and they do the beautiful Regulator logo emboss right on that lid.
Something that's gonna benefit you here is that Regulator does a gasket seal, so that way these wells will pressurize. When you have a finicky offshore bait, they are a little bit more comfortable being able to swim around in this well and not sloshing around from having low water.
You are also going to get an oval shaped livewell, and the benefit of that is that fish can swim in a circular pattern and not be bumping into the corners of a wall that you see in some of the competitor brands.
Having more lively fishing baits will make for a much better experience fishing out on the water. So enjoy and see you out there.
